Sodium Feldspar
This group of minerals consists of aluminosilicates. Compositions of major elements in common feldspars can be expressed in terms of three endmembers potassium, sodium and calcium. Our mines offer sodium oxide (Na2O) in the range of 7-11%
Application of sodium feldspar in glass industry helps increase the strength and elasticity. It also helps lower the melting temperature.
Ceramic industry uses feldspar in both body and glaze, where it acts as a flux to lower the melting temperature.
เฟลด์สปาร์คือกลุ่มของแร่หลายตัวโดยทางเคมีจะประกอบด้วยสารประกอบหลักคือ โซเดียมออกไซด์ โพแทสเซียมออกไซด์ หรือ แคลเซียมออกไซด์ โดยแหล่งของทางบริษัทพิพัฒน์กรจะมี โซเดียมอยู่ในช่วง 7-11%
การใช้งานในอุตสาหกรรมแก้ว เฟลด์สปาร์ใช้เป็นส่วนผสมในการทำแก้ว โดยจะช่วยทำให้แก้วมีความเหนียว ทนทานต่อแรงกระแทก ทนต่อความร้อน ทำให้สามารถขึ้นรูปทรงผลิตภัณฑ์จากแก้วได้หลากหลาย และยังช่วยลดจุดหลอมตัวของส่วนผสมลงอีกด้วย
ในอุตสาหกรรมเซรามิค ใช้เป็นส่วนผสมของเนื้อดินสำหรับงานปั้น (Body) และงานเคลือบ (Glaze) โดยแร่เฟลด์สปาร์จะทำหน้าที่เป็นฟลักซ์ (Flux) เพื่อลดจุดหลอมตัวของส่วนผสมทำให้เกิดเนื้อแก้วยึดเหนี่ยวเนื้อของส่วนผสม ทำให้ผลิตภัณฑ์เซรามิคเกิดความแกร่งและความโปร่งใส สวยงาม
เรามีเฟลด์สปาร์แหล่งขนาดใหญ่ที่มีปริมาณสำรองสูง คุณภาพดีสม่ำเสมอหลายแหล่งในประเทศไทย ได้แก่จังหวัดตาก ราชบุรี และ นครศรีธรรมราช แต่ละแหล่งมีองค์ประกอบทางเคมีและคุณสมบัติทางกายภาพเฉพาะตัว ทำให้เราสามารถจัดการเพื่อตอบสนองความต้องการของลูกค้าในแต่ละอุตสาหกรรมได้เป็นอย่างดี

Pottery Stone
Pottery stone deposit was formed by hydrothermal alteration of extrusive rhyolite rock, which deformed the feldspathic constituent mineral into clay.
Application in ceramic industry to create porcelain body which has translucent quality. It can be used as a substitute for kaolin.
พอตเตอร์รี่ สโตน เกิดจากการผุผังของหินไรโอไลต์ที่ถูกแปรสภาพ ด้วยขบวนการปฏิกิริยาน้ำร้อน ทำให้แร่เฟลด์สปาร์ในหินบางส่วนผุผังเปลี่ยนไปสภาพไปเป็นแร่ดิน
การใช้งานในอุตสาหกรรมเซรามิค เป็นวัตถุดิบได้เหมือนดินขาว เพื่อเป็นส่วนประกอบของเนื้อพอร์ซเลนที่มีสีขาวโปร่งแสง

Pyrophyllite
Pyrophyllite is a phyllosilicate mineral comosed of aluminium silicate hydroxide: Al2Si4O10 (OH)2 mainly consists of alumina (Al2O3) and silica (SiO2), which classify as clay mineral. Its property is suitable for ceramic application due to its excellent thermal stability and plasticity.
แร่ไพโรฟิลไลต์เป็นแร่ที่มีส่วนประกอบหลักคืออลูมินา และ ซิลิกา จัดอยู่ในพวกแร่ดิน (clay mineral) ซึ่งมีคุณสมบัติเหมาะแก่การทำเครื่องปั้นดินเผาเนื่องจากมีการหดตัวหรือขยายตัวน้อยเมื่อถูกความร้อนสูงๆ มีความเนียวคล้าย แร่เคโอลิไนต์
แหล่งไพโรฟิลไลต์ของเราเป็นแหล่งขนาดใหญ่ คุณภาพสูง และ สม่ำเสมอ ซึ่งเหมาะสมในการใช้ในอุตสาหกรรมเซรามิค โดยเฉพาะกับสุขภัณฑ์ทั้งในและต่างประเทศ

We are focusing on industrial minerals for ceramic and glass industry, namely Sodium Feldspar, Pottery Stone and Pyrophyllite. We serve local market and export to various country in Asia and Middle East. Our mines are located in 5 provinces throughout Thailand, from Tak, Lamphang, Ratchburi, Saraburi and Nakorn Si Thammarat. Our current capacity is more than 1 million metric ton per annum.
We are always striving to be the leader in our sector. Pipatkorn is the first Feldspar mine to every certified with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 in Thailand. We are also a proud constant receiver of many operational excellence awards such as EIA Monitoring Award, CSR-DPIM and Green Mining Awards.

We understand that mining industry has impact to both local communities and surrounding environment. As a result, we are taking all these factors into consideration in managing our business. Other than conforming to the regulation, we also push to excel in all aspects that effect our stakeholders.
Starting from the planting tree inside our property, so it feels more like plantation instead of crushing plant. We also have a lime orchard and rice field inside our crushing plant area. Our happy cow helps us produce organic fertilizer for use in our plants.
Our mine pit is also use to store water for nearby villager and their agricultural usage. Pipatkorn built drinking water filtration system for both our people and offer them to children at school nearby.
Temple is where the heart of the villagers are. Pipatkorn contributed to the fund raising and building in local Wat Nam Dip.
